Occupy a new highland for deep sea aquaculture in the world

This year, for the first time, the development of breeding industrial ships was written into the No. 1 central document. "Guoxin 1", the world's first 100000 ton intelligent fishery large-scale aquaculture ship built in Qingdao, has taken the lead in actively exploring. Qingdao will continue to seize new highlands for deep sea aquaculture such as aquaculture boats by strengthening overall planning, policy support, and scientific and technological support.

Strengthen overall planning. Study and formulate the policy documents for promoting the high-quality development of deep sea aquaculture in our city, focus on solving the blocking issues in the fields of aquaculture production, equipment manufacturing, industrial supervision, service system, and continuously strengthen safeguard measures, and promote the high-quality development of the entire industrial chain of deep sea aquaculture industry such as aquaculture workers and ships.

Strengthen policy support. Implement the "15 Policies of Qingdao to Support the High Quality Development of the Marine Economy", and focus on supporting the construction of large-scale aquaculture craft. This year, the design and construction of six aquaculture craft, including "Guoxin 2-1" and "Guoxin 2-2", will be launched in succession to expand the production scale.

Focus on promoting 90 key marine projects

Project construction is an important support for high-quality economic development. This year, Qingdao has determined 90 key marine projects based on the principle of "multiple sea related elements, good industrial prospects, and strong economic growth" through repeated research and selection, with a total planned investment of 20.3108 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 28.061 billion yuan.

The reporter learned from the press conference that Qingdao's key marine projects this year have significant characteristics. First, high quality. There are 22 marine projects with a total investment of more than 3 billion yuan, with a total planned investment of 152043 million yuan, accounting for 74.86% of the total project investment; Four projects were included in major provincial projects, and 38 projects were included in key municipal projects. The second is the excellent structure. In accordance with the deployment requirements of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, Qingdao has focused its work on the development of the real economy and manufacturing industry. Among the 90 marine projects, 53 (including 5 infrastructure projects) are in the manufacturing industry, accounting for nearly 60% of the total, with a planned investment of 98.907 billion yuan.
